Simon Says: What’s a Mailing Project?

Simon (and Marni) discuss what goes into a mailing project and how our team at Curry can help with all your mailing needs!

Hello, everyone.

The dynamic duo is back and today we’re going to be talking about mailing projects. There’s a ton of work that goes on behind the scenes of creating your mailing jobs for you. So we’re going to get into it today and talk about the details of it and kind of what questions we need answered to find the best solution for you. The beauty of Curry being a one stop shop. We take care of everything from getting your project’s design to printed to out the door in the mail. We can take care of it all for you.

A mailing job is exactly what it sounds like. You want to get something physical in the hands of your target market, whether that’s a postcard, an appeal mailer, a holiday card, a brochure, annual report, catalog, whatever it may be, we’ll get it printed and in the mail for you.

Now, while Simon here doesn’t have thumbs to do the mailing projects himself, he’s so lucky to have such a knowledgeable staff that supports him that can help do specific folds, seal all the envelopes up for you, and get everything completed in a timely fashion. Like I said, as always, Simon and I have some questions that we want to ask you that will help prepare a solution for you and give us a better idea of what it is that we’re going to be doing for you.

The first question is, how is this going to be mailed out?

Will this be a pre-sort mailing and if so, will be using your permit or will you be using ours? The next question is, is this time sensitive? Generally speaking, first class tends to be quicker and normally arrive to local addresses within 1 to 2 days.

The next question is: what do you prefer between live stamps, metered, posted or printed indicia?

It’s really up to you. And then the quantity, which leads us into our next question, our next question of how big is your job going to be? What’s the quantity? For pre sort mailings there is a minimum of 200 for standard and nonprofit jobs and for pre sort first class there is a minimum of 500. I do have some images I can show you all of some examples of mailing jobs we’ve done in the past, so please take a look and enjoy.

I’ll try not to be too biased here, but mailing projects are something that Curry definitely excels in. We have very skilled employees who have been here for a long time and have a lot of knowledge on these exact types of projects. So rather than going to a bunch of different places, one place to get your project design, one place to get it printed, and then having to go to the post office yourself, please reach out to us. Being a one stop shop can make your life super easy. We’ll get everything completed for you from A to Z and get your product in the hands of your target market. So just give us a call and Simon and I will happily take care of you along with the rest of everyone here at Curry Printing.
