Here’s what you will be responsible for:

  • Prospect research and generation to support sales and lead generation efforts
  • New client referrals and initiatives
  • Developing and distributing digital and print marketing campaigns; art directing marketing materials
  • Managing mailing lists for customer reviews and surveys; coming up with strategies to encourage completion of reviews/surveys
  • Generating marketing emails
  • Copy writing, editing, and uploading posts for Curry’s blogs
  • Updating marketing databases, spreadsheets, and house files
  • Building brand awareness/positioning
  • Identifying opportunities to give back to the community; design and oversee company’s community involvement initiatives

Who are we looking for?

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field OR you have equivalent job experience
  • You are a competent user of the Microsoft and Adobe Suite
  • You are a strong copywriter with experience generating marketing messages
  • You know how, when, and why to conduct competitor research
  • You have experience building brand awareness and positioning a brand for market success
  • You act with a sense of urgency. You don’t look around for someone else to take charge – you jump in and ask questions.
  • You are a competent problem-solver. You figure out creative solutions and stay positive about challenges.
  • You TCOB every day. Challenging goals aren’t stressful for you, they’re exciting!

Qualified candidates will be comfortable jumping headfirst into a fast-paced environment and multitasking all day, every day. Handling concurrent projects in varying stages and with aggressive deadlines is just a regular day for us here! Attention to detail is key – we are looking for a ‘micro’ thinker who can carefully follow set processes, proofread their own work, and triple-check for accuracy every time.

Here’s what you will be responsible for:

  • Handle concurrent graphic design projects in varying stages and with aggressive deadlines
  • Meet with sales reps or clients to go over specifications, making sure there is an understanding of expectations
  • Engage in prepress process, paying attention to accuracy and client requests
  • Provide proofs in adequate time to meet job deadline
  • File all artwork files in accordance with agreed-upon conventions
  • Work on projects which include corporate identity and branding packages, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, posters, displays, in-house marketing materials, and more.

Who are we looking for?

  • You must have 1-3 years of graphic design experience and preferably one year of experience working at a printing/sign firm
  • You should be proficient in PC and Mac, as well as Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • You get extra points for having a comprehensive understanding of both offset and digital printing concepts, an understanding of prepress workflow, as well as troubleshooting for both
  • You must be intelligent, hard-working and a creative problem-solver to fit in with our culture
  • You must be someone who can step up and take responsibility, no finger-pointing
  • You need to be amiable and unflappable…we work in a high-pressure and fast turn-time environment, so for everyone to keep their sanity, you’ve got to have an easy-going demeanor
  • You must be a clear and precise communicator
  • You should be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and respond to priority changes
  • You should act with a sense of urgency, no slackers!

Job Duties:

  • Operating and maintaining sheetfed press
  • Operating digital bindery equipment as well as other post-production operations
  • Screen printing experience is a plus!
  • Accurately following instructions
  • Quality control to ensure that every job we send out to clients is perfect
  • Other duties as assigned
  • General shop appearance/upkeep
  • Solving unexpected issues and challenges: all day, every day!
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area

Key requirements:

  • Print production experience required.

  • Outside vendor management (promo products experience a plus)
  • Constant interaction with clients and prospects
  • Answer phones and juggling deadlines
  • Problem-solving production and delivery concerns, working closely with our graphic designers and production staff
  • Following up with clients
